On a Result of Turpin

We consider several formulations of the equicontinuity of the sequence of power maps ( x ⟼ x n ) n in the non-commutative case. We give some analog of a result of Turpin for a locally convex algebra not necessarily commutative. The link with the operation of entire functions is also examined.
