Summary:This study consists on accounting education at the graduate level in Turkey and intended to determine the degree of compliance of International/ Turkish Financial Reporting Standards. Therefore, the contents of the intensively teached accounting courses for the Department of Business Administration in accounting course lesson plans in state and private universities in Turkey have been analyzed. As a result of analysis is conluded that the contents of accounting courses in Turkey are largely not complied with International/ Turkish Financial Reporting Standards.
