A Thin NiFe Hydroxide Film Formed by Stepwise Electrodeposition Strategy with Significantly Improved Catalytic Water Oxidation Efficiency
NiFe film for oxygen evolution reaction (OER): An ultrathin NiFe‐hydroxide film is generated by stepwise electrodeposition with a significantly improved catalytic OER activity, as compared to NiFe films obtained by using traditional methods. The turnover frequency of 8.7 s−1 at an overpotential of 3...

Summary: | NiFe film for oxygen evolution reaction (OER): An ultrathin NiFe‐hydroxide film is generated by stepwise electrodeposition with a significantly improved catalytic OER activity, as compared to NiFe films obtained by using traditional methods. The turnover frequency of 8.7 s−1 at an overpotential of 329 mV is extraordinary and represents the highest value among heterogeneous OER catalysts. |
