Summary:We developed a large ultra‐high‐definition (8K) liquid crystal display with a high aperture ratio by making the source and drain electrodes, wirings, storage capacitors, and contact portions transparent. This increased the aperture ratio from 37.3% to 47.1% and reduced the backlight power consumption by approximately 21%.
