Summary: | Helically‐coiled polydopamine (PDA) nanofibers were fabricated on a lipid nanotube (LNT) as an efficient photothermal converter for cancer therapy. The incorporation of anionic oleic acid was critical for the absorption and polymerization of dopamine on the helical marks of LNT. The coiled PDA‐LNT hybrid showed higher light absorbance and photothermal conversion effect than the linear and spherical counterparts. In cellular experiments, the coiled PDA‐LNT could also efficiently associate with tumor cells and eliminate HeLa cells after laser irradiation.
