Summary:[...]we examined the treatment-by-time interaction terms in repeated measures analysis of variance models to assess whether observed changes in HRQOL outcomes differed between groups over time for the overall sample as well as severity-stratified samples. Conclusion: These results suggest that the BI was associated with better mental HRQOL among patients with severest impairment compared to UC and may partly explain lower health care utilization requiring urgent/emergent care or hospitalizations in this group of patients.
