Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) is a rare primary immunodeficiency disease caused by defects in phagocyte nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) oxidase. Bronchoalveolar lavage bacterial culture was positive for Burkholderia cepacia.
