Summary: | Chest radiograph showed an area of right upper lobe plate-like atelectasis and computed tomography showed a right upper lobe endobronchial lesion with resulting post-obstructive consolidation. Large sections of tumor were extracted by removing the bronchoscope and cryoprobe as a single unit and smaller sections were removed by simply allowing them to thaw in the airway and later suctioning them through the bronchoscope's working channel. |
