Description
Summary:Variables for pulmonary specimens included the number of granulomas per high power field, the percent of lung affected by sarcoidosis, the presence and extent of lymphoid aggregates, diffuse lymphocytic infiltration, and fibrosis. Non-granulomatous diffuse lymphoid aggregates were found predominantly in the explant samples-in these areas macrophages and dendritic cells stained for MMP9.
