Summary:Crespy remembers his encounters with playwright Edward Albee, who died on Sep 16, 2016 at the age of 88. He was introduced to Edward Albee's plays when he was a student at Freehold Township High School in 1979 in New Jersey by his English teacher, who was an admirer of Edward Albee and had them read his The Zoo Story. He remembers being staggered by the play, and he wondered why his crazy teacher had them read it -- but at the same time, he remembers feeling that he desperately wanted to play Jerry some day.
