Relationship between the structures and antimicrobial activities of argentic nanocomposites

The relationship between the structures of sulfated arabinogalactan argentic nanocomposites with silver contents of 5.3 to 9.2% is studied along with their antimicrobial activities. It is found that antimicrobial activity depends on nanocomposite morphology, rather than on the silver content in a sa...

Description
Summary:The relationship between the structures of sulfated arabinogalactan argentic nanocomposites with silver contents of 5.3 to 9.2% is studied along with their antimicrobial activities. It is found that antimicrobial activity depends on nanocomposite morphology, rather than on the silver content in a sample. The highest activity is found for a sample with 5.3% silver content.
