Summary:This paper aims to report and discuss the use of a virtual lab for developing achievement in electronic circuits for hearing-impaired students. Results from a number of studies have proved that the virtual lab allowed students to build and test a wide variety of electronic circuits. The present study was implemented to investigate the effectiveness of virtual lab in improving hearing-impaired students’ understanding of concepts and their skills in handling electronic circuits. The experimental work was carried out in the electronic computing department at Mansoura vocational preparatory schools for hearing-impaired students in Egypt. The results clearly revealed the effectiveness of the virtual lab in improving students’ achievement and practical skills with respect to handling electronic circuits.
