Summary: | Billow’s third part of his series of articles is an important contribution to the discussion of leadership in group therapy. I enjoyed reading and discussing this rich article, full of Billow’s original thinking inside the Bionian legacy. Billow is passionate in his view of the group leader’s significant place and centrality in the group. The theme of therapeutic leadership always has a strong, affective component, which can also be sensed in group analytic discussions. Group therapists, when addressing their own role prescriptions, are often talking not more and not less than about their professional identity. |
