[...]lack of nucleoli decreases the odds that the cytologic diagnosis will be suspicious of malignancy (P = .0494).The combined presence of three-dimensional clusters, anisonucleosis (> 4·) and prominent nucleoli is highly correlated with a surgical diagnosis of malignancy (eight cases, all serous carcinoma, 100%).
