Interpretation of poetry with Dr. Roloff

Dr. Roloff showed us how to pay attention to sounds in language, how sound evokes meaning and reverberates in the body, how to embody poetic rhythm. He helped me discover deep interiority and bring interiority to the performance moment and to, in his words, “trust the judgments of the body.”
