Description
Summary:This work points out the origin of the convergence problem when the Jiles-Atherton hysteresis model is associated with the finite elements method (FEM) to analyze electromagnetic devices. To overcome this problem, a restriction is proposed and applied in the classical approach for the determination of the Jiles-Atherton hysteresis model parameters process. The presented methodology considers the inverse model, where the magnetic induction is the input variable and the magnetic field is the output variable.
