Mother Love, Child Death and Religious Innovation: A Feminist Perspective
Sered examines the link between women and religions that address child death. A model for interpreting the interplay between women's personal and religious lives which avoids the dual pitfalls of magic and neurosis as explanatory strategies for dealing with child death is presented.
