Summary:This paper deals with the economic and financial evaluation of the Andalucía Savings and Loans. Using appropiate ratios we analyse different characteristics of the six savings and loans, that include structure, cost, profitability, efficiency and solvency. The twenty two ratios analysed originate conflicting evaluations of the saving and loans. This situation leads to consider a multicriteria method to get a global ranking of them. In particular, we use the Promethee method.
