Description
Summary:The adaptation of the Spanish university system to the European Higher Education Area [EHEA] has led to the reorganization of the higher education system in Spain. In this context, the article discusses the existence of Geography in the different curricula of academic degrees, in Geography degrees and Land-Use Planning degrees, as the most common denominator, and in other academic degrees of the different branches of knowledge in which the main fields of study are grouped: Arts and Humanities, Social and Legal Sciences, Sciences and Engineering and Architecture. Due to the long well-established relationship, a special mention should be made to the teaching of Geography in the Teacher Training Schools, which are now Education Faculties.
