Summary: | The Front Cover shows the development of small molecules capable of targeting and modulating a variety of pathological elements found in a brain beset with Alzheimer's disease, including metal ions, metal‐free amyloid‐β peptides, metal–amyloid‐β complexes, reactive oxygen species, and free organic radicals. Such compounds can be obtained through rational design that includes minor structural modifications. The studies present that although small molecules are structurally similar, they can interact with distinct pathogenic factors. The overall findings provide the foundation for developing chemical tools that are able to identify the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases.
