Summary:The influence of ion nitriding on the physicochemical properties of metal surfaces is studied from the viewpoint of the proposed energy model of gas-discharge technologies with a possibility of combining the parameters of treatment (temperature, pressure, composition of the gas mixture, and the time of saturation) with the energy parameters of the process (current density and voltage).
