Description
Summary:The paper considers new generation platinum-niobium anodes developed on the basis of the 15-year experience of AKK-M-4 anodes operating as a part of a cathodic protection system for the nuclearpowered icebreaker 50 Let Pobedy, which can provide protection against erosion-corrosion damage of modern icebreakers and undocked ice-resistant offshore structures without repair and replacement for up to 25 years or more. Updated ice-resistant anodes such as AKL-2MU and AKL-3MU have been developed.
