Optical reflectivity based on the effective interaction potentials of xenon plasma
New results on the reflectivity and Brewster angle of dense xenon plasmas based on of the effective interaction potentials (which take into account static and dynamic screening effects) at pressures of 1.6–20 GPa and temperatures of ∼30,000 K are presented. Using Fresnel formulas, the reflectivity c...

Summary: | New results on the reflectivity and Brewster angle of dense xenon plasmas based on of the effective interaction potentials (which take into account static and dynamic screening effects) at pressures of 1.6–20 GPa and temperatures of ∼30,000 K are presented. Using Fresnel formulas, the reflectivity coefficients for the s‐ and p‐polarized laser waves are investigated. The influence of atoms, which was taken into account at the level of collision frequency via an effective interaction potential, is proven to be crucial for understanding the reflection process. |
