Summary:Teachers and other school personnel are constantly challenged to demonstrate that their instruction and/or interventions are appropriate and effective. This is often difficult to do because the connections between the theory and research they learned before entering the classroom or professional practice and the day-to-day activities they engage in are not clear. A solution to this continuing problem is to develop and use a system that bridges the gap between theory and practice. Such a system is described in this article and illustrations from practice are provided that document that it works.
