Hillslope evolution by nonlinear creep and landsliding: An experimental study: Comment and Reply

An experiment illustrating the transition from a steady downhill creep at low gradients to highly dynamic transport on steep slopes is discussed. The model's ability to predict the flux in highly dynamic aspects is also discussed.
