Identification, characterization, and localization of the dopamine D(3) receptor in rat brain using 7-(3H)hydroxy-N,N-di-n-propyl-2-aminotetralin

In order to identify, characterize and localize the dopamine D3 receptor in rat brain, 7-(3H)hydroxy-N,N-di-n-propyl-2-aminotetralin was used as a selective probe. Results suggest that D3 receptors are involved in a peculiar mode of neurotransmission.
