Summary:Methods We included 1613 consecutive patients enrolled in the Optimized CathEter vAlvular iNtervention (OCEAN)-TAVI Japanese multicenter registry between October 2013 and July 2016. Multivariate analysis showed that male gender was independently associated with cumulative mid-term mortality (hazard ratio, 1.397; 95% confidence interval, 1.023-1.906; p=0.035).
