Description
Summary:Rainbow from gold: A single‐component white‐light emitters based on gold(III) complexes with tailored ligand scaffolds through a rational design approach was synthesized. An exquisite control of the ratio between fluorescence and phosphorescence was varied via excitation energy due to hyper‐intersystem‐crossing to fine tune the chromaticity of the white‐light emission with excellent CIE coordinates both in solution and thin films.
