Summary: | The objective of this article is to improve educators' efficiency in generating and distributing frequent, timely, customized, and confidential feedback to students by using existing computer resources and capitalizing on familiar software applications. Adaptations of a specific function, mail merger, available in MS Word, are detailed in performing two forms of feedback. First, individual grade reporting illustrates the electronic distribution of customized reports that include grade book data. Second, peer assessment reporting illustrates the same principle using data from an external source, that is, student comments. |
