Summary:Festival Internacional de Musica de Tecla Espanola is the only festival and symposium devoted to Spanish keyboard music, and has become, since the first gathering in Oct 2000, the annual international meeting point of musicians, musicologists and builders interested in this topic. FIMTE aims to promote research and construction of copies of Spanish harpsichords and pianofortes, which are rare, and a multidisciplinary team will produce a new edition of the first book published in Spain for keyboard: Venegas de Henestrosa's Libro de cifra nueva.
