Description
Summary:An abstract of a study by Piccolo et al that evaluates the pre-weaning growth performance of beef calves born to cows that received or not wet brewers grains (WBG) supplementation at different frequencies during late gestation is presented. They found that decreasing the frequency of WBG supplementation during late gestation was an effective management practice to decrease cow hay cost without impacting cow and pre-weaning calf growth performance.
