Summary: | On admission her blood pressure was 150/90 mm Hg with a sinus rhythm and heart rate of 90 beats per minute. Astonishingly her left foot had marked, large and deep wounds extending to the bone and infectious drainage with unpleasant smell (Figure 1). laboratory showed leucocytosis and high levels of C-reactive protein. The residual stenosis was finally dilated with 3,0 × 80 mm drug coated balloon and a successful intervention with a prominent downstream blood flow was achieved (Videos 2, 3). |
