Summary:Thermochemical treatment (chromizing) of compacted steel parts on molybdenum-based plasma coatings was studied. The effect of heat treatment parameters on the structure and size of parts was examined. The sintering and diffusion hardening are recommended to be combined into one stage to simplify the production process and improve the performances of parts.
