Summary: | This paper aims to develop a computational model of the Linear Current Control (LCC) filter in order to evaluate the performance of the different control strategies, commonly found in commercial single-phase grid-tie inverters, in terms of the compliance with the distribution utilities standards. The use of LCC filters requires some strategies to maintain minimum stability guidelines at the point of common coupling. To achieve this goal, several simulations were carried out and the results showed that the current control configuration presents a total harmonic distortion of current well below the traditional control available in the most grid-tie inverters. |
