Geochemistry of tholeiites from Lanai, Hawaii

To assess the nature of components in the source of Hawaiian lavas and the geochemical heterogeneity of small-volume Hawaiian shield volcanoes, lava samples from three stratigraphic sections of Lanai were collected and analyzed for major trace element composition. The results are offered.
