Description
Summary:Using the concept of cracking, we have explored the influence of density fluctuations on isotropic and anisotropic charged matter configurations in General Relativity with "barotropic" equations of state, \(P = P(\rho)\) and \(P_{\perp}= P_{\perp}(\rho)\) and a mass-charge relation \(Q=Q(\rho)\). We have refined the idea that density fluctuations affect physical variables and their gradients, i.e. the radial pressure and charge density gradients. It is found that not only anisotropic charged models could present cracking (or overturning), but also isotropic charged matter configurations could be affected by density fluctuations.
