Summary: | This study discusses the practice of socialization of disaster mitigation in school children in West Bandung regency, West Java. This paper discussed how the government and the community disseminated disaster mitigation as part of education of the citizens potentially affected by disasters. The socialization is viewed from the forms that the community practiced. With the descriptive-qualitative method, this study found that there are some forms of effective mitigation socialization for school children. Therefore, the government and the surrounding community can immediately adopt educational efforts in a real technical form, so that can be felt by the community, especially in terms of its impact on the community, including school children. |
