Description
Summary:We introduced new transparent composite film, glass-fabric reinforced hybrimer (GFRHybrimer) film, based on siloxane hybrid material (hybrimer). We analyzed the relationship between the transparencies of GFRHybrimer films and the refractive indices of hybrimers using theoretical backgrounds. By both theoretically and experimentally, transmittance of GFRHybrimer films were highly dependent on the refractive index difference between the hybrimer matrix and the glass-fabric. It showed the importance of refractive index matching in fabrication of highly transparent GFRHybrimer films. We expect transparent GFRHybrimer film as new flexible substrate for various flexible electronic devices.
