description | Embracing 21st-century learning requires students to develop their learning and thinking ability with the use of interactive learning tools. The example of interactive learning tools is Interactive Whiteboard Tools (IWT), which integrates technology in the classroom and has become the most revolutionary instructional technologies at various education levels. The difficulties of mathematics in higher education itself cause difficulties of lecturers to make their classes interesting and interactive. The invention uses IWT in the classroom is a method to create attractive and interactive classes, where notes and examples can be stored and referenced anywhere and at any time. Learning can also be recorded and stored. In UiTM Cawangan Pahang Kampus Raub, the implementation of IWT is by using a touchscreen tablet that works with a conjunction of a computer and a projector. In order to identify students’ acceptance in learning towards using the IWT, data from 180 students in UiTM Cawangan Pahang Kampus Raub is collected through a self-developed questionnaire. All these selected students are enrolled in Mathematics subject for session 2 2016/2017. One-way analysis of variance and t-test were used to measure the different perceptions towards the application of the IWT. From the finding, students showed the positive attitude toward learning Mathematics using IWT and there are no significant differences in students’ acceptance toward the use of IWT in the classroom according to gender. However, there are significantly different according to the program of the students. |
