Summary:Copper‐catalyzed domino C−C bond cleavage of 2,3‐unsubstituted Indole/Indolines and Oxindoles through oxygenation followed by insertion of 2‐aminopyridine has been described. This method implies the formation of two new C−N and C−O bonds using molecular oxygen as a sole oxidant for construction of highly valuable Quinazoline‐2,4(1H,3H)‐dione derivatives from readily available substrates.
