Summary:The present study was designed to investigate the antihyperglycemic and hypolipidemic activities of ethanolic leaf extract of Morus alba (EMA) in Streptozotocin induced diabetic rats. Blood glucose, serum parameters such as glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c), bilirubin, albumin, creatinine, total protein, urea, lipid profile, and urine parameters such as urine protein, creatinine and volume and renal antioxidant enzymes like SOD, CAT, GSH and MDA were estimated at the end of 12 weeks study period.
