Description
Summary:THE purpose of our paper is to investigate the influence of relative prices, commodity characteristics, time, and region of destination as factors determining the quantities demanded of American exports relative to those of Britain in the inter-war and post-war periods. Our research is intended to bridge the gap between and to improve upon the earlier crosssection analyses of American and British exports by MacDougall [2, 3] and the time series analysis of Zelder [1, 6].
