Description
Summary:We present the results of inspection of 20-steel pipelines of nuclear power plants performed by using the nondestructive method of magnetic memory of the metals. We study the structure of the metal of pipelines after long-term operation and the defects formed in the metal. It is shown that the results of structural analysis are in good agreement with the data obtained by the nondestructive method of magnetic memory of metals. The causes and character of formation of defects in the metal of pipelines of nuclear power plants are determined.
