Summary: | Partial discharge (PD) is one of the most effective conditions monitoring for electrical equipment such as a transformer. Detecting PD, especially inside the transformer, is made possible through several methods. One of the methods is by detecting UHF signal emitted by PD. Although UHF detection method can be applied on site, a lot of research was also conducted in laboratories. Several methodologies have been proposed for the research. This study looks into the objectives, methodologies and results from such experiments. |
