Summary:According the great development of China’s space industry, the types and quantities of the payloads in the large spacecraft are increasing, so the mass data of the experiment has higher and higher demand of the scalability and reliability of orbiting storage system. Divisional storage model1 are not appropriate for this requirement, so we analyzed the distributed file system on recent trends and designed a kind of distributed storage system based on the model of centralized Meta data servers. This kind of storage system can be applied in orbiting storage system and improved in the experimental prototype.
