Calculating equilibrium concentrations for stepwise binding of ligands and polyprotic acid-base systems

A simple algorithm is outlined to calculate the concentrations of the complexes for a given set of equilibrium constants for stepwise binding of ligands and polyprotic acid-base systems. It is shown that at a given temperature there is only one equilibrium state for the given initial conditions.
