Description
Summary:Two of the world’s most endangered carnivores, the Spanish imperial eagle and the Iberian lynx, rely almost exclusively on the European rabbit for their survival. Unfortunately, with as many as one quarter of lagomorph species threatened with extinction, it is not surprising that the book promotes the Red List Status of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as well as the national threatened status for the listed species. A full description of the appearance and unique morphological characteristics of each species also includes standard measurements of adult specimens, to include hidden body length, tail length, hind foot length, ear length, greatest length of skull and weight.
