Description
Summary:A microwave-assisted citrate precursor method has been utilized for synthesis of nanocrystalline powders of CoFe2O4. The process takes only a few minutes to obtain as-synthesized CoFe2O4. Structural properties of the synthesized material were investigated by X-ray diffraction; scanning electron microscopy, Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The gas sensing properties of thick film of CoFe2O4 prepared by screen printing towards Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) revealed that CoFe2O4 thick films are sensitive and shows maximum sensitivity at 350°C for 2500 ppm of LPG.
