Summary:Mp717, whose pedigree is (Mp420 × Tx601)-16-1-1-3-1-1-1-1-B, was evaluated under the temporary designation Mp92:673 for resistance to aflatoxin contamination in a series of replicated field experiments conducted from 2000 to 2004 at Mississippi State, MS. Ears were inoculated with A. flavus, and aflatoxin contamination was determined in the grain of mature ears (Windham and Williams, 2002).
