Summary:The present work was aimed at the development of a high-performance GPU code for modeling rarefied gas flows around 3D models of space vehicles by the DSMC method. A technique for performing large three dimensional DSMC computations on heterogeneous CPU-GPU clusters is presented. The high efficiency of GPUs for high-altitude aerothermodynamic problems is demonstrated.
